The rumors also say that Nexus One will be in a head-to-head battle with iPhone. I personally think that is bull$hit.
iPhone is at its 3rd generation and millions and millions of handsets sold. Nexus one isn’t a real phone, just a concept.
The rumors also say the Google Nexus one will be available as early as june 2010.

7.2 HSPA-capable Smartphone from AT&T and LG Mobile Phones Packs a Powerful Punch, Features Optional Mobile Projector

DALLAS, November 30, 2009 - AT&T* and LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc., today announced the LG eXpo will be available online beginning December 7. Featuring the first 1 GHz processor in the United States, the LG eXpo allows business professionals to meet their demanding data sharing needs while on the go. Available exclusively for AT&T customers, the handset will be compatible with AT&T’s High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) 7.2 Mbps technology, which provides a considerable speed boost to the nation’s fastest 3G network.

Swype Versus iPhone

Can iPhone QWERTY virtual keyboard be beaten ?
It looks so, the challenger is called Swype and works quite fast (not that sure how).
It looks like you don’t have to get your finger off the keyboard to chose the next letter, the swype software will automatically see you want to write a new letter. OK but how about the word “leTTer” you have to take your finger off… Or is is on a timer.. One thing is for sure, as all keyboards, virtual, physical, or just numpad, you’ll have to get used to it.

Samsung Omnia II is the lucky phone that might get this brilliant feature.

While Samsung brags about selling 50 million touchscreen cellphones this month (6.3 mil US, 3.4 China so on) LG still struggles with the 10 millions LG KP500 Cookie SOLD (ONLY 10 MILLIONS ).

Nokia 2710 Navigation - budget GPS

The Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition, the company’s most affordable Nokia Maps loaded, GPS-enabled phone has been unveiled.

The new phone is expected to be popular in the developed and developing world alike and has been developed with urban environments, small towns, as well as rural areas in mind. Incorporating straight line navigation with the assistance of an integrated digital compass, it also includes turn-by-turn driving navigation with full voice guidance.

With the clear trend towards providing location based services to mobile phones, customers can use a single device for both communication and navigation. When bringing this experience to new markets, you need to make sure the experience is locally relevant. With Nokia Maps, Nokia provides the broadest navigation coverage of any competitor and we continue to add new countries all the time.
