Nokia 5530 XpressMusic
Nokia’s 5800 XpressMusic son : 5530.
The rumored specifications of Nokia 5530 XpressMusic are :
- 2.9″ inch touchscreen (why not 3″
) - Symbian S50 5th ed
- WiFi (YAY)
- 3.5mm jack
- integrated FM radio antenna
- 150 Mb internal
- microSDHC memory card support.
Why do I have the impression that Nokia 5530 will be as “cheap” as 5800, bringing a thinner case but less features.
Apple employee interview - new iPhone features rumors
This is an interview (after a few shots of tequila) with an Apple employee that works with different departments and assemble.
Interview with a drunk Apple iPhone employee
Q: “is there going to be another iPhone ? ”
A: “Definitely , hac, hic, hihi, what do you think ?”
Q: “this year ?”
A: “this year, next year, who cares, we don’t decide, there are a lot of money involved”
Q: “what will the next iPhone bring ?”
A: “oh…many things, don’t you know, you will never find the perfect gadget, the perfect phone”
Q: “can you tell some features ?”
A: “first of all, the screen consumes a lot of electricity…. look at that girl… the first thing they will improve is better battery - the main consumer is the screen, an OLED screen or AMOLED would be better. It is a win-win situation, better colors, better angles and more fast energy efficient screen.”
Q: “same battery, better screen ? More efficient ?”
A: “yup, now they advertise with 10h talking, 6h wi-fi, 300h standby time, but that’s just marketing. Usually you are lucky if you get to the 3rd day of use, 300h shish that plain ********t”
Q: “other features for the new 2009 iPhone ? ”
A: “I really can’t tell you…but a video-conference camera in front should be, I’m not sure. One thing is for sure, a camera in front and with a good software you can easily connect every iChat user with iPhone on-the-move, if you know what I mean”
Q: “dude, really ? some hardware in there ?
A: “yea, miniaturization is the future, smaller devices, smaller hardware etc… iPhone 3G is quite bulky, yes, everybody know, nobody says anything.. iPhone is BULKY, iPhone is FAT”
Q: “is there a smaller screen, smaller size iPhone on the way ?”
A: “iPhone is big, is bulky… we need to have a smaller gadget on the market that everyone likes…. a smaller phone”
“here’s a shot from me”
This is fictional, the interview is an april fools day one. The presented ideas are indeed rumors.

The Dell phone

There are rumors on the internet (between us, bloggers) that Dell is currently working on a mobile phone with touchscreen.
Of course the rumors get even better like :
- 2 Operating systems (Google Android and Windows Mobile)
- february release
- mini-transformer robot (joke)
Dell had quite some success with Studio design series from notebooks, but in mobile phones - this is something new. Probably HP is laughing too much in their face with smartphones.
